What do the 6 friends on your facebook timeline mean?

On the newish facebook timeline profile there is a little box with 6 of your friends in it, underneath the banner. I always seem to get a similar combonation of friends in the box, and i researched and found that these are your top friends (that you talk with, tag in photos or comment on status' etc) However most of them, one in particular, i have never interacted with so could this mean they have been viewing my profile ?

all it is a link to your friend list. if you look at it on diiferent time you will see that the people change it is just random

Yes they say that it's the people you've interacted the most. But it's never the case often you see them randomly and sometimes you see your new friends also whom you've never talked with yet.

yeah.. those are the people with whom u interact more... but it may not mean that they are viewing your profile.

According to Facebook:

“By default, a changing selection of all your Facebook friends always appears under the Friends heading in the left column of your profile. This selection might include friends who you interact with the most in Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events. However, Facebook does not select friends to show based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.”
