why did Myspace never reach the level of success and commercialism that Facebook has now reached?
Myspace was around even longer than Facebook, but I don't remember seeing so many ads and news stories about Myspace as I do on a regular basis with Facebook's name.

MySpace placed all of its emphasis on connecting bands and musicians. Everyone else was pretty much excluded eventually.

I feel like its easier to use then myspace so older people can also use it. But idk.. I liked MySpace better

Myspace was originally used to promote music and bands.
Facebook was originally created so that people in college + can connect. People like connecting with friends more, I guess. |
