Name some good Role Playing armor build-up Game for PC?
alright so imma be home a lot. Need an RPG fix. Flash or 3D, old or new, Fantasy or zombie, swords and bows, or knives and guns. that sort of stuff. love that!!! i'd prefer a single player.

this kind of stuff is great - https://apps.facebook.com/laststand-deadzone/ with the barricade, and the gathering supply concept. but that particular game is too complicated, and needs a bunch of developement.

list your names down at the answers, or links, or free downloads Big Grin thank you very much

Here is a game that I am certain you will enjoy!

LEGEND OF GRIMROCK: I like playing Indie games. Large companies can make great games with their huge wallets, but they have to appeal to a lot of people to make their money back. Because of this, they don’t take risks and try new things, they stick to what they know people like. Since smaller, independent companies don’t have these restrictions, they can make games with unique ideas. This is what happened with The Legend of Grimrock.
The creators of The Legend of Grimrock decided they wanted to re-visit the old-school dungeon crawler game. That is what they did with the game, but they did it without making it “feel” old-school. The graphics are good for an Indie game and they kept it live action, instead of turn-based like many older dungeon crawlers. One thing that is different than most live action games is that the entire world is in a grid. You can’t stand just anywhere, you can only move in a grid. You press the button to move forward, and you move to the next square. I found this to be a good feature for the game as it requires more strategy to dodge arrows and spells and gives you time to ready abilities. This game is an rpg through and through.
The Legend of Grimrock has a simple story, four prisoners being sent to a prison. This isn’t a normal prison, it is an ancient labyrinth that prisoners are sent to. Your crimes are pardoned at the top of Mount Grimrock, and if you emerge from the tunnels, then you are free to live your life. However, nobody has made it out of there before.
You control four prisoners (although can play with less for more of a challenge) as you make your way through the tunnels. You move as one person, but you have four people with different skills, weapons, and cooldowns. This makes it similar to many turn-based rpgs where you have a party, but keeping it live action adds some interesting twists to it. It requires you to have a little bit of reflexes or quick thinking in order to click on a weapon as soon as it is ready, but you can also do hit and run tactics. You can quickly hit an enemy with all four of you characters, and then run away to wait for the characters to ready their attack again.
Another interesting part of the game is the spells. To cast a spell, you need to click on certain runes. Your character might be a high enough level to cast a spell, but if you don’t know what runes to click, you still can’t cast it. This makes playing magic characters a little difficult unless you have played the game through once already and found and memorized all the spells. This is a game mechanic that I have seen before, but it does kind of take you out of the rpg. An rpg is about your character leveling up and learning new abilities. This game mechanic requires the player to memorize spells. Regardless, I think it works well in this game as it got me more involved in the game. I was the mage in the group and I had to learn the spells. It also makes secrets more worth finding, as that is where most of the spells are found.
The game also holds true to dungeon crawlers in other ways. There are many secret passages that can only be found with a good eye. They introduce a secret entrance near the beginning to make sure you know about them, but during the rest of the game you need to have a keen eye to spot secret buttons on the wall. These secrets usually get you better items or have spells for you to learn.
I really enjoyed this game. Exploring a dark dungeon, looking for secret doors, leveling up different characters, and learning about an ancient catacomb is all things I love in games. Even though I already know about Mount Grimrock, I will definitely go back and play this game again some time. This game is definitely worth playing. 8/10
