Tips to take a good picture for facebook? (Guy 16)?

I like to look fresh, even in pictures. So, I want a good profile picture so people have a good impression of me.

Any tips to take a good picture? Examples, websites, etc?

On a cloudy day stand outside or sunny day under a tree with lots of leaves but no sun/shadow blotches on your skin from the sun going through the leaves. Or, sunny day, get an umbrella and put it between you and the light source, in this case the sun.

Use your phone or digital camera and keep snapping photos until you get a few you really like..take different angles of your self..as in extreme right side/left side, 3/4 view or full frontal. Use a mirror maybe..take just extreme close ups..as in only your eyeball or mouth or mouth w/then w/o a smile. Try showing your teeth during the smile and a few without showing your teeth. Start moving out a little at at time until you are taking full body shots...spend some time with this and I am sure you will find a few you like.
Take those and if you have some girls you feel comfortable with and trust ask them to pick out the best one. If you agree, use that one..if you don't agree use the one you like best.
