Can colleges override your facebook privacy setting?
I heard today that even if you restrict your profile to only your friends, colleges magically have some way of overriding it and seeing everything. Is there any truth to this?

I can't imagine this is possible but if anybody could prove this had been done, they could take legal action against the college.
A college could legally have you arrested for bypassing their official web blocks (criminal misdemeanor) and what you are suggesting is a very similar thing in reverse
