If you block someone who is already your friend on facebook, will you still be friends when you unblock them?
I'm thinking of temporarily blocking my ex on facebook for a few months so I don't keep looking at their page while I'm trying to heal. I just wanted to know, if I wanted to be facebook friends again, would I have to go through sending them a friend request after unblocking them?

I don't know if that would be wise anyway, but I'd still like to know.

If you block them then it removes them as a friend.

what's the point of blocking them just because you're not going out anymore, that's just pathetic. How would you feel if she blocked you after you split up? Please stop looking for attention.
