Guy/dating problems? attracting guys?

soo, I haven't been on a date with a guy for THREE years (since my last boyfriend) and i'm an 18 year old girl!
it's weird because many guys tell my friends they think i'm hot/fit but never talk to me after!
also, a few new guys who I see at parties (who I have mutual friends with) ask about me to my friends and add me on Facebook but it never seems to go further :/
and it sucks, i feel like i haven't had a 'connection' with any guy since my last two boyfriends (my last two BFs pretty much broke my heart) but I'm over it now and just want to have a new boyfriend

yeah i sound desperate but I want to feel loved and love someone but WHERE is the guy! and what should i do?

Make the first move. It sounds weird but alot of the times the more attractive the girl the less likely it is guys will actual approach her unless you are at some kind of horny jersey shore-style night club lol.
