how to get guys to notice you?

so there's this guy in my school, he's in 6th year and im in 4th (ages 17 and 15) i know of him and he knows of me. i would like to get to know him better but not sure how to go about doing it. i see him everyday when he comes back from lunch and when hes going to school as he always arrives later than me and also see him randomly sometimes in the corridor. we're friends on facebook. so how can i get him to notice me and not see me as some random 4th year.
anything i could do in person/on facebook?
how should i act around him? like should i be bubbly/ hyper or mature and serious.
hair, makeup?
any tips from guys point of view? and girls? xxx

be yourself.. if he likes you the way you are then he will make the first move.. you could always get him alone at one point and ask him out,.. but the main thing is to be yourself.. dont change for anyone

If you want him to notice you STARE AT HIM ALOT!! Make eye contact when he sees you looking at him. Trust me IT WORKS

yeah, don't focus on 'how' to get his attention, just DO it. And be yourself obviously, either message him on facebook, or if your not to shy, chat to him before school.

like everyone said be your self pop up to him on facebook don't be too clingy but make him laugh a guy loves a girl that makes him laugh they fall for you faster trust me ive gone though the same thing and im 14 XD (btw im a guy so i know) yeah make him laugh if you see him on his own talk to him if you see him with friends smile at him and if he smiles back he likes you hope i helped just be YOUR self
