How to get rid of BIG FACEBOOK ADS?!?

So I'm using internet explorer, and when I log onto facebook, I have the side ads like normal, but I have this huge pop up that tells me I can get items 95% off, and it shows friends who have bid on items. Then Every 3rd comment, I will have the stupid, "what will your child look like" or "finish the song and win". These ads are very annoying, and they make it so when i hit the @ key to tag someone, it will not pop up because the ad will disable it......

long story short.... HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I GET THESE TO GO AWAY! some of my friends don't have these. Take that back, no one I know has this problem.

And the ads are annoying because most will say, "looking for singles ladies? come here!"
