Is it true on th new facebook profile, the friends on the side are the people who last viewed your profile?
My friend told me she heard that on the new facebook profile, on the side where it says "friends", that those people who show up are the people that last looked at my profile. Does anyone know if that's true?

No, those are just your friends that are online. It's just an addition so you don't have to look at that pop- uppy thing on the bottom right corner.

That's un-true.
Facebook would, and will, NEVER be allowed to do that due to privacy issues. |

it isnt true because my sister heard the exact same thing and we took a group of friends and all viewed her profile, and her friends list never changed. with the new profile the friends list on the side is just that.

According to Facebook:
“Friends who you publicly interact with the most appear first on your profile. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.†|
