How do I find my posts on my timeline from a year ago on facebook?

I want to delete a post I made over a year ago on facebook. I saw it on someone elses timeline cause I tagged them in it. BUt I want to delete it. I looked on my timeline for 2011 and can not see any of my own posts. Stupid facebook decides what to display. They display just the highlights and pictures and I found I can click to view what other ppl wrote on my timeline but I can't see my own posts. Where did they go and is it possible to view all posts made by YOU on YOUR own timeline??? I swear I hate fb its a huge headache and I'm tempted to delete it.

on your page, click activity log, then select all on the top right drop down.
this works in full browser only, not mobile.

Your activity log is a tool that lets you review and manage everything you share on Facebook. Only you can see your activity log. You can access your activity log by clicking the Activity Log button on your timeline, under your cover photo.
Go to activity log >> select "your post" from the drop down button on the top-right of the page>> scroll down and search your posts

You can try to find the post from your activity log. You can also try to find it from your timeline, for that, you have to go to the year, and then the month, and the click 'show more posts' to see all the post of that month.

If non of these above works, try to do it in a different way. Go to the friends timeline where you saw the post, find the post, and as the post is yours, i think you will be able to edit or delete it form your friends timeline as well. You will also see that just below the post, the date of the post is showing. If you click on that, the hyperlink will take you to your original post. You can delete it from there.
