Scared to friend people on facebook?

I've always been an outcast at school. Now that i'm a Freshman in High School i'm making some new friends. I made a facebook but I'm scared to friend them. I've been lonely at home and facebook would really connect me to the outside world. Should I friend them. I know it's weird but i'm scared lol

I was exactly the same way just ask one of your friends if they have a Facebook and if they do then tell them you are going to friend request them or you could even tell them to friend you

Don't be scared making new friends is hard i went through a lot of the same things you are going through just friend the poeple you really like and would spend time with
