You should tell your mom!
My mom told me, no matter what I should always tell her something if it's serious or important.
Just tell her.Your mom shouldn't be married to that freak of a dad of yours...
No offense....

Do you have a "kids help phone" where you live? or someone at your school you trust to talk to? It sounds like you need someone to talk to.
Good luck

I think it's important that you confront your dad first because you mentioned that your mum has bipolar, and that make her feel really bad. I think you shoul tell him that you think it's really wrong and tell him tht he tell your mother the truth because he can't live a lie. He has to sort it out with your mum. But if he doesn't listen, I want to sit them both down and tell then both what you have found. I hope everything works out for you and I hope I helped Smile

Here's the deal: if you confront your dad, he's gonna deny that anything's going on and he might even say that he doesn't know how those messages got on his phone. You should try to figure out who this other person is and gather more evidence before you start making accusations. If it's all true that he's cheating on your mom, I'd watch out. The guy's lying to you, your mom, and (if he really is a Protestant preacher) the entire congregation. He obviously doesn't care what God thinks of his behavior, so what else might he be capable of? And you being 13(?)...uhhhhhhh. I'd steer clear of him. Go to an adult that your trust, and let them know what's going on. Or send him an anonymous text telling him that everyone knows what he's doing so he'd better stop it! Pretend like you're someone else and tell him that you're gonna expose him to his wife and his daughter if he doesn't end the hanky-panky! Make HIM feel like the victim. You and your mom deserve better than this. Good luck.
