How can you trace someone?
I had a boy back in 2007 with my ex partner and my ex has disappeared off the face of this Earth, He hasn't paid me child maintenance since 2009 and even the CSA can't trace him. I would like to find where he is, not just for the money he owes me, but it is inevitable my son will start asking about his father, and if anything happens to him or I need to know any health questions etc. He has a Facebook profile, but there is no way he would add me or give me any information on his whereabouts, so I'm wondering how to do this covertly, and his profile is set to private. I also have reason to believe he is in Poland, as he was not only obsessed with the place, according to the CSA, they can't trace him via the Inland Revenue, and he wasn't the type not to work when I knew him, one of the many reasons we split being he was a workaholic. Any hints, tips or suggestions would be very welcome.

If you've got contacts for any of his family or friends have you tried asking them? Does he even care about his son? He just dissapeared and doesn't want to be found or give you money so he clearly doesn't care about your son so to be honest he would probably be better off not knowing that his Dad doesn't care about him. You should've got to know what he was like before you had a child with him because it sounds like he's a terrible father.
The only way I can think of is to ask his family to ask him to get in touch with you for your sons sake (you must have contact details for some of them?) There must be some of his family and friends who know where he is. And you can ask them about his medical history. But if the child support people can't find him then the only way would be to hire a private investigator but I don't think he's worth it.
Change your Facebook profile picture to a picture of your son then try and add him, he might see what he's missing out on Wink

Urm to trace somebody the usual utensils needed would be:
1) A large piece of paper, larger than the height and width of the person in question.
2) A working pencil or marker pen

Have the person lie down on the paper and simply draw around them.
Simple as that.

Hope I helped Smile
