How to ask out someone who lives far away?

There is a girl I like and she lives approx. 800 km away we have never actually met but she is one of my friends best friends and we talk a lot, I like her and from what she says I'm pretty sure she likes me, so what should I say if I ask her out? N.B. I WOULD be asking her out over Facebook, no other option.
I'm still in school and only go down to where she lives once a year.

if u know where she lives then y not go to her house of school ( if she does school)

You should go and visit her someday. Inform her about it that you're visiting her place and also it would be a good chance to meet up. Meet her there. Stay in that place for two-three days and in between ask her out.

but i jst be bothered with relationships in general

but if u want to ask her out online
there is way more romantic ways then facebook

im not sure what ways...
but this is the internet
so i dnt doubt u can do be more original then fb my friend
