Ok, so me and my friend were really joking around and we decided to put our status as being married . Now, I want to change it back to single without anyone knowing, or like getting a notification like "Kayleigh has changed her status from "married" to "single"." I changed the privacy settings so that only I could see that I am married to my friend on facebook, sorry I'm trying my best to explain this well. So if I changed the privacy settings to "only me", would it make a status saying "Kayleigh changed her status from married to single" or something like that?

yes, if you change it to "only me" then you can change it to whatever you want and no one gets notified

keep in mind tho, that unless the other person also makes their relationship "only me" then all of THEIR friends will be notified
