I think you can just
Go to account>privacy settings>Friends, Tags and Connections>friends>customize>only me.
If that doesn't help, try using the link I put in my Source. Smile

If you choose to share your friend list by "only me" icon , nobody will be able to see your friends , but Facebook will tell them how many mutual friends you have , just the number and not the names.
