Facebook privacy question..?

Im looking to make a new Facebook account soon ( i havent had one in over a year) but i dont want to make one depending on an issue i have. Is it possible to make your profile private as in nobody can find/add you, you have to find /add them? (I know you can block people and whatnot but thats alot of extra work it seems.) Or something like it in the privacy settings? I would really appreiciate any avid FB users' feedback on this one. Thanks!

Yeah, Its in the privacy settings or its Avaliable when you sign up for facebook, I believe, Go to Privacy, Then set it to only friends, If you have no friends then, Boom Shakka Lakka, Done Lol

Well you can set your account invisible to everyone but your friends.. if you dont have any friends then that works.. go to privacy on the top right hand corner, and then click on search and profile. You can change it all there as "only friends" but only your friends can see you
