my best friend is being really weird.......?

my friend and i used to talk every day, almost all day. he was one of my closest friends and i was one of his. we've liked eachother for a few months but now hes seeing someone and my boyfriend and I got back together. last week, he stopped answering my texts and deleted me on facebook and i have no clue why.
what should I do? :$
he lives far, we go to different schools, we have no common activities, etc.
