How do i change back from Facebook timeline to the previous view?

You cant change back...Your friends will see all your activity/comments in their tickers/home pages by default, unless they have chosen not to.
Change your privacy settings in the drop down icon top right of your fb page.

Well before getting timeline it clearly states that you cannot change it back. So before ever changing your facebook. Always read the fine print and find out what you are giving up in doing so.

You can view all personal timeline pages in the old style profile page format, if you follow this simple guide:

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
