How do I get out of a really bad roommate situation?

I am currently living in a university apartment with three people I despise with a passion (I wish they were dead). I have currently put up ads on facebook, and up at our local student union but I seem to never get any interest. I have 8 months on the lease left and I have to find a roommate or else I am stuck here.
