How do I take top friends off my facebook?

How do I just completely get rid of having a top friends on facebook? None of my friends have it and I really don't see a need for it. I tried clearing them and then saving it but that didn't work.

To remove any application, move the mouse over 'settings' at the top of the screen then select 'Application settings'. From here you can change application settings and indeed remove them by clicking the X.

Try going into your settings and removing the application there.
