how to stop friends seeing apps used on facebook?
just a quick question, i want to start using a dating app on facebook, got very good reviews and just wanna check it out, but feel a bit nervous as my friends may be weird and start acting like kids and making fun out of it. is there a way i can prevent my friends seeing my apps or app related stuff but still allow them to view photos and updates. thanks

Usually when the app is first opened, it gives you options as to what is posted on your timeline or not.
It asks for your permission so if it doesn't allow you to do anything without accepting everything, then right when you do something with it, it should show on your "recent activities" feed on your profile. You can hover over that and notice an X. click it and it should give an option to "hide all posts from _____" and you should be set to go. Plus, on the permission page, it should give an option to choose who you want to see posts from, so click where it says Everyone/Friends of friends/Friends/custom/only me and click Only Me. Ads |

When you start using the app you have 2 options "private" and "public" - choose private and click the x to not allow the app to access your timeline posts and you`re done. Good luck! And don`t be ashamed of using such an app.
