Is there a better way search through Facebook groups?

I wanna join groups about certain subjects but I can't narrow down which groups have the most members are which are the most active. It seems to be very random and I'd probably have to look through every single group there is of a subject to narrow down which one I want to be a part of. That would just take forever. I maybe doing it wrong.
