Why wont Facebook let me see my friend's post on the news feed?

[Hallo .]

I can't see a bunch of my friend's posts on my news feed but when I go to their timeline , I can see the post. Whenever I log onto my sister's account or my friend's , I can see the posts on the news feed just fine.
Anyone know why it's doing that and how I can fix it?
Maybe I should've worded it better.
It's a large majority of my friends maybe all except for a few, not just one.

it sounds to me like that person added you to her restricted list

you should ask her about it

otherwise, check to see if you added any of those people to your acquaintances list

also, check your news feed settings for those people as shown here
