Are you going to Tweet4Shalit?
If you don't know what that is, go here:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=137996562951
or watch this vid (it's kind of long and rambly)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfD8PnYK4_U

This is the summary:

Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier, was taken captive by militants on June 25 2006. He wasn't even 20 years old, and has been captive for over 3 years, with no access to family or health care, despite International Red Cross's requests. JIDF has started a campaign to spread word of him via Twitter.
It will be held August 26th 2009, which is 2 days before his 23rd birthday.
What you do is Tweet as often as possible using the hashtag (which is a tag used on twitter about a topic) #GiladShalit , in order to get him into the top 10 trending topics.

Despite how it sounds, this isn't political- because before he is an Israeli, before he is a Jew, Gilad Shalit is a human being who has been prisoner for more than 3 years, who just wants to go home, and who has people who miss him everyday.

So, are you going to Tweet4Shalit?
Avishai : thank you Smile

Pheemz: Twitter is easy to use, and it's simpler than Facebook to get an account. But prayers are welcome too Smile

Nope, I don't do Twitter.

As you say, it's not political. I'm no fan of the IDF, but holding him is cruel and immoral. So while I don't do Twitter I'll say a prayer for his release.

I don't use Twitter. Ever since I saw what the Myspace craze did to people, I've never been interested in social networking sites.

But I'll do what I can to get the word out, and pray for his safe return. No soldier deserves to be away from his friends and family for that long.

No, I don't use Twitter. I will keep him in my prayers and his parents too. I think Netanyahu shouldn't not give land away or think about giving anything away unless Gilad is back home. He's been gone for too long now.
