Im 14 and i'm not aloud to go to the beach with friends?
Im 14 (15 in November) and I asked my parents if I could go to the beach with a group of friends and they said no, when i asked why I got yelled at, I'd like to know what you would do if this was your child or just your personal opinion, is it just my parents being over-protective or is it many parents.
Help I'm tired of feeling left out after seeing photos on facebook of my friends having a great time not only at the beach but in the city and other places.

i can see where you coming from. im the same age and one of my friends has the same issue. Its just your parents being protective.
A good idea is to talk to your parents calmly about going. tell them who your going with and what you intend to do there.
Your parents need to learn to trust you so help out a bit more around the house. and let them no you feel left out.

You need to sit your parents down and talk to them and tell them how you feel but in a calm and nice way DON'T SHOUT!!! if you shout they stop listening took em years to finally figure that out! , yes they are being over protective, my parents where the exact same :-) chin up it wont be forever!!!

You'll be fine!!!

Some parents are really protective over there children its not them being harsh its just them watching out for you and loving and caring for you. Personally if my daughter was that age i'd let her to the beach with friends aslong as she had a mobile phone stayed with her friends and was back at like a certain time. Maybe suggest to them can you go to the beach if you take a phone and you ring them like every hour to check in? Good luck xxx
