Why do only some of my facebook apps work?

I have some apps like Farmville and Top Followers, and when i try to open them the screen pops up "internet explorer cannot display this webpage."
Why is it doing this and how can i fix it??

~~Get rid of Internet Explorer, it is always glitchy with FB and the games. Use google chrome for your browser. No more glitches and it will double your speed. It is the only one I will ever use. Just go to
http://www.google.com/chrome and download the appropriate one for your operating system.

It lets you move all your favorites from IE so you wont lose anything. Just look for the wrench on the top right corner and it will allow you to customize what you want. It leaves a clean screen without all the toolbar junk IE has. Everything is under the wrench.~~

i Agree with the first answer get rid of internet explorer it stinks try going to firefox or chrome and it will work better
