Does he really mean when he uses the word beautiful?

So this guy and I have known each other for a few months now and we are friends on facebook and we text each other quite frequently. First off, he likes all of my profile pictures on facebook, he even commented on a few saying, "beautiful <3." And whenever we text, we have good conversations going. And whenever we say good night to one another, i am normally the one who says "good night handsome <3" and he would either reply with "night or goodnight beautiful". But last, night he had to go and he said goodnight to me by saying "goodnight beautiful".. On skype, he has said I was attractive, etc.
