Facebook message girl from high school?

I haven't talked to this girl since high school, about 5 years ago. We weren't exactly friends but would talk once in a while when I saw her. I've always had a thing for her. We've been Facebook friends for several years. Would it be weird if I messaged her to say hi and see what she's up to now? I'm a good looking guy if that matters lol

Yes. That's weird. If you haven't talked to her in 5 years and didn't talk to her much before that, it is extremely weird. Honestly, I would be really creeped out (although, I'm one of those people who deletes facebook friends if I haven't talked to them in a year). If you aren't worried about creeping her out and are that set on talking to her, start slow. Maybe comment on an interesting video she posts or like a status once in a while. Do not write her a long message about how you wanted to talk to her all these years and how you used to like her and all that.
