Can you set a .gif as your facebook profile picture?

not an animated one, no, because facebook will convert it to a JPG when you upload it, and then it wont be animated any more

No you Can Not When you Set it as your Profile Picture it will Automatically Convert to a JPG Picture And it wouldint be GIF anymore

.. Facebook doesn't accepted animated image files.. (.GIF).. it used to a few years ago.. you will be able to see some pictures that are animated, but they were uploaded before Facebook updated its website on rejecting GIF files..
