My friends never ask me to hang out?

I'm 15, and in school I have a group of about 4 friends that I am SO close with. We have a million inside jokes and I can be myself whenever I'm around them. But for some reason, they NEVER ask me to hang out! I've asked them to hang out before, and 50% of the time they'd say yes. But I'm growing tired of being the only one asking to hang out.

Another thing that gets me annoyed is that they always hang out without me. They'll tell me all these stories of when they hung out and post pictures on facebook, but it gets me upset because they never invite me! I'm very shy around people and don't make friends easily, so it means a lot to me that I'm so comfortable around them. I just don't understand why they won't be with me outside of school.

i would think its best to just talk to them about it and see what they say

I'm the same way. You need to ask your friends...not us. I found out my friends never invited me to hang out because of some bad habits of mine. Ask your friends why they're not asking you to hang out...they might tell you. If they don't ... I'd suggest looking for some new friends and see if they change their attitudes
