Why am I not able to comment on my friends facebook pictures?

I keep saying a huge row of comments on pictures of some of my friends on facebook, but I'm like the only one that can't even leave a comment. There is no comment link or area for me to write something. Why is this?

From what i can get from this i beleive that your friends may have left comments on the pic but i think maybe the pic might be someone else posted it who's not on your friends list. i used to think wth when i saw that then i realized it was my friends commenting on their friends pics but i wan't friends with the person who posted the pic.

I believe that your friend doesn't want people to comment on his/her photo.

You may have clicked on an album or picture that someone other than your friend posted.

You cannot comment on pictures posted by people who are not your friends.

If your friends comment on someone's picture who isn't your friend that comment will show up on your homepage but you won't be able to comment back. You can't comment on their friend's page.
