YouTube: Someone is using a picture I created as their profile thumbnail without my permission; What can I do?
A while ago, I created a photo on photoshop and set it as my profile picture on YouTube. After a couple of weeks, I discovered one of my 'friends' had set it as their profile picture. After an argument, I was blocked on facebook but eventually got that picture taken down as it belonged to me. Now I discover that he is using that same photo that I had created as his YouTube Profile's Thumbnail picture without my permission. I want that photo to be taken down, as it belongs to me. What can I do to achieve this?
I flagged the profile thumb. as that was seemingly the only option under report that was appropriate, but all I could do is click the button and flag it, without adding any details. I'm pretty sure this won't work, since YouTube don't know the story, so my question is what ELSE can I do that will be effective?

Go to the bottom of any Youtube page & click on "safety" - Have a wander through there, there may be a way to contact someone.

I would ask them to take it down, but you have to understand that this happens all the time online. People use and reuse other people's photos, and there isn't really anything you can do about it, except ask them not to. If ten thousand people have seen your photo, and it's good, it will get taken and used somewhere. Like what are you going to do, take them to court? It's not worth making a huge fuss about, but you could ask them, post on the Google group forums for You Tube, and see if somebody cares enough to put time into it.

Try anyway to report them for using your photo. While making pictures like that you should write in water effect (transparent, but so you can clearly see) your Youtube name or something symbolising you (in the corner) so in that case if people do use your images you'll still have credit.
