Why am I able to comment on non-facebook friends activities and pictures?

I'm able to comment on peoples photos who aren't in my facebook friends list. I haven't had any contact with them previously, and I only have two friends in common with her. It's happened multiple other times with other people.

Its just a matter of that persons privacy settings, and if they allow people to do that

it depends whether their profiles are public or not - also if you have friends tagged in the photos, you are able to comment on those..hope this helps x
