Help, pregnant & my life has been going down hill!?
LSo i have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now. I found out i was pregnant 3 weeks ago (it was unplanned). When i first told him, he told me that it is ok whatever decision i make & that he will support it & be here for me. I also had a lot of support from everyone else so i felt good. I am against abortion so that wasen't an option. I have a good stable job & a place to live that is fit for the baby so i said no to the option of adoption. Every day since i found out my boyfriend has been a lot less supportive. He says things such as "you should have gotten an abortion" "(jokingly) says he is going to punch me in the stomach" "if it's a girl i'm not changing it's diaper" "i'm still going to go out to the bar & party when i want to" "he would throw a party if i wasen't pregnant & it would be the happiest news in his life" he also sometimes calls it a "stupid ass baby". This puts me into a very deep depression. Knowing that he is talking so bad about his soon to be son or daughter. He also has said "well i mean i guess i don't have to stick around i could always leave, but i'm not going to do that to you" just even him saying that disgusts me... he talks about the situation as if were not going to be together than together. Besides all of this. He will tell me to loo at him & he will jokingly say i need plastic surgery on my face. Then the next moment he will tell me i'm beautiful. He also disses my body. I am 5'2 & i am 110 pounds so i am pretty small. He says my a** isn't nice enough nor my boobs. I would say i'm decent for my size but it obviously not good enough for him. I also catch him looking at girls profiles on facebook randomly only (slutty pics of girls) & liking their pics. I don't have a belly yet but i will have one soon. I don't care about having a belly cuz all i care about is my baby & making sure it's healthy... but it saddens me because of the hurtfull things he says to me... what should i do... its causing too much stress!

Don't let him put you down. I am sorry you're with such a pig of a baby's father. Maybe you two should split apart and you collect child support and let him have him/her on the weekends.
I couldn't imagine dealing with that through a pregnancy! God bless you.

he is an abusive jerk and you should have left long before you got pregnant. Figure out how to do this on your own, and then kick him out/leave.

And don't go back to him. Ever.

I'm guessing that he has always had this sort of character, but the pregnancy has really brought it to the surface.

You have to ask yourself - am I better off with him, or without him? I don't see anything in what you wrote that makes me see a stable, loving man who will support you and be a great dad to his child. He seems to be entirely focused on himself, and on what he wants.

The good news is, your child has a parent who loves him or her already. Our oldest daughter's daughter was abandoned by her father before she was ever born. You know what, that's *his* loss. She is bright. She is beautiful. She is funny. She is talented. She is gorgeous (did I mention that already? LOL!) She is a treasure.

He has missed every minute of her 9 1/2 years so far. He is pathetic and alone. Our daughter and her precious daughter have a great relationship. She is one of the best moms I know.

You can do this with your child too.

(((hugs))) and wishing you well.
