What determines the order in which my friends appear on my facebook friends list on my profile?
Cause some people are constant i know it changes everytime but i have nearly 1000 friends and it usually picks at least one of the same people

it bases it off tags in pictures and posts on their walls and other interactions on facebook

According to Facebook:

“Friends who you publicly interact with the most appear first on your profile. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.”
