Why did this comment at the pool today bother me so much?

My 'ex' (we only went out for like 2 weeks) who I unfriended on facebook over the summer and barely talk to becuase he's a jerk - but is in my group of friends - said this to me when we were in the pool at a bbq today:

"Hey, pull up your bottoms"

I got so mad.
Who does he think he is to tell me how to compose myself?
I was in a bikini, no different than any other girlfriends of mine who were there.
Sure, I have gained weight since my anorexia, but am more toned now and in shape, so my bikini doesnt fit that different...
I just got so upset. What do you think?
Was I wrong? He has no place in telling me how I should look, right?

I would be mad too. Its extremly rude for a guy to say something like that to a girl. If he has the nerve to say something like that, then hes obviously not worth it. Glad you arent still with him.

I personally dont think you are wrong for being mad. It was rude and embarrasing, so dont feel too bad
