I don't want to put my relationship status on Facebook...?
So I recently got into a serious relationship.
My boyfriend sent me a request on Facebook to add me as his girlfriend. I don't particularly like putting my relationship status on Facebook because I value my privacy. Do I just tell him that I don't feel comfortable putting it on Facebook? Please don't get me wrong, I'm not ashamed of him or anything. I just like my privacy. Also, a side question for anyone, if your significant other wanted to keep your relationship status off Facebook for the same reasons, would you be offended? Ads |

do what you feel is right, privacy is what you want to value and not what people on Facebook say or see.

I think that you should just tell him that you like your privacy on Facebook, there's nothing wrong with that, I'm sure he will understand

Hey you have a right to your privacy and freedom, just tell him that. He will understand. But either way it's no big deal. nobody really cares.
