How to Convince Parents to let me get a FaceBook?

Okay, I turned 13 about a Month ago, And had been waiting to get a facebook for 2 years...
Everyone I know, (All my friends, Cousins, Relatives, etc) Have one. Except me. The day I was going to ask her, Cooked her her Favorite breakfast, And everything. She said "No". "I may talk to your dad, but we've had problems with facebook a couple years ago." And I was really sad. Today I went to my Friends house, and his sister made fun of me, him, and his dad made fun of me Cause they all have facebook... Of course, they were joking around. But my Friend's ad DID SAY if I wanted, His wife could talk to my mom.

Tell them that if you're not on Facebook, then you're missing out on valuable networking opportunities later in life when you need to get a job.
