how to change Facebook timeline profile?

I got the timeline profile on FB in September using the Developer app but didn't like it so went back to the app and deleted it to get my old profile back. This week Facebook started releasing it's timeline profile to the public without the Developer app and my profile changed but none of my friends did.....I tried going back to the developer app to change it but it wont change....how do I change it back to the normal profile?

you cant change it back - everyone is being converted in the next few weeks (it doesnt happen to everyone at the same time) (in fact it seems the people who tried it a while ago are the first ones being converted)

so you might as well just get used to it, as the old one will be going away soon anyways
