How to change privacy settings on facebook for relationship status?

I don't want certain friends on facebook to see my relationship status, how can I hide it from them? I have timeline

On your timeline, click on "Update Info." Then scroll down to "Relationship." Click on "Edit." Next to "Relationship Status" click on the down arrow with the silhouette of people, then click "Custom." You can then choose your Custom Privacy options by selecting "Make Visible To: These People or Lists" or "Hide From: These People or Lists." That should do it!

On your timeline go to 'Update Info' and then click edit on 'Basic Info'. Each option should now have a drop down next to it that is for privacy. Click on the relationship status one and then change your settings.
