How does the FaceBook search work? How might I get my FaceBook group to appear higher up on the list when a search is conducted?

invite all your friends and tell them to invite their friends aswell, the more people in the group the higher up the search page it goes, thats why the ones at the top usually have thousands of members! =]

in the list there in order of how many people are part of that group so you need more people to join it.

Following, age and keyword relevance of the title all matter. Add content to attract new followers and they will tell their friends, hence the social aspect.

not suree, but i think it depends on popularity and relevance

like if you search "bob smith" and you are friends with a bob smith, the that particular bob smith will show up first. if you have 50 friends that are friends with another bob smith, or live in the same town as him, he will probably be up higher on YOUR personal search. from there, i think it is whichever bob smith has the most friends or is closer linked to you.

so, to get a group to show up higher, i think that by getting a lot of people to join and invite all their friends, you will have a better chance of more people seeing it, if that makes sense...
