Blocking selected status updates from a couple Facebook friends?

I have Facebook, and I update my status frequently. Sometimes, however, I may want to post an update that I don't want some people to see right away, if at all. I know you can block selected friends from seeing all of your status updates, but I don't want to block them completely. Is there any way to block only selected status updates from certain friends?

Its an all or nothing thing.You can block them for a period of time then remove them once that status update is gone from your profile
