What to do about my crush, so confused?

Please, please read this. Im going to try to not make it any longer than it needs to be.

So, three years ago was the first time i ever hung out with my bffs and her neighbors, and there was this one guy "Trevor" who instantly thought that me and him had a thing even though we really didnt. We all hung out a lot in a group, and thats when i first developed a crush on him. But the problem was that we both went to different schools and never got to see eachother except for when i went to my bffs house, but then WE starting drifting, so i never really got to hang out with the neighbors after awhile. Since i thought that i wouldnt ever hang out with the neighbors ever again, or so i thought, i decided to tell my bff about how i liked Trevor. My bff and him are neighbors obviously, so they kinda of "play-hate"/ make fun of eachother a lot, and my bff was completely grossed out that i liked him at one point. Anyways, a couple days after that i randomly got a facebook message from Trevor (hes never messaged me before) and i automatically thought that my bff had told him...except she really hadnt ! He asked me to hang out, so the following weekend i went to my bffs house and we all hung out, except he didnt even talk to me or say hi or anything. So i dropped the crush, and decided to move on.

Now, just this summer we hung out once in a group just like old times, and the disscussion came up about how i was switching to the school my bff and Trevor go to for our grad year. Trevor was like to me "Oh so youre switching to East High this year?" i was like yeah..but then he just dropped the convo like that.

So ive been at East high for about a month now, see Trevor everyday and i have one class with him. Yesterday he asked me if i had boughten my ticket for the first grad dance this year, i said yes, and he gave me a thumbs up. Then today, he flagged me down while i was walking past him in the hallway and asked if he could borrow a dollar from me.

I kind of like Trevor and all that, but i just dont know. Hes never had a girlfriend before (were all 16/17 btw), and i know he used to get semi-teased for it. Ever since that i think hes fell into peer pressure about getting or "wheeling in girls" from his friends who are all dating or hooking up etc.Hes kinda of preverted and all that..but then again arent all guys like that these days. I know for a fact hes gone to 3rd base with a girl whos a year older, i dont think he even liked her cause they never even dated.

Is this guy worth it ? should i even bother if he asked me out...btw ive never had a boyfriend before either. THANK YOU
