how do i make my frinds list private on facebook now that the privacy options have changed?

the new facebook settings have changed. i dont know how to make my friends list private and my wall posts from people i dont know. anyone know?

You CAN make your friend list private from everyone including your friends. Easiest way is to go to PROFILE page--then right under the Profile link (upper right corner) there is a tab/link named EDIT PROFILE--click that. On the new page, the left column will have a link named FRIENDS & FAMILY---click that. To the right in a light blue box area you will see the word Friends and to the right of that a DROP DOWN ARROW---click that. Now you will see the choices..Public, Friends, ONLY ME and Custom along with any lists you may have created. Here is where you make your choice. Choose ONLY ME to make it completely private. SAVE CHANGES and that should do it. If you have allowed the Family application, those "friends" will show on your friend list regardless. This is as of 9/2011.
