Why am I losing friends on Facebook?

Recently I have noticed that I am losing friends on Facebook. What I mean is it is almost as if a bunch of people, all at once, decided to unfriend me. There are 7 that I can count that I was friends with last month that I am no longer. I'd understand if it was one maybe two people especially if I never talked to them and that has happened before I didn't care. Whether it be glitch or they physically removed me, I didn't care. This is just too strange though.

To make things stranger, I asked someone before if he unfriended me and he said he wasn't aware of it. I friended him again, he accepted, and now everything is good. Like I said, I've lost friends before, unfriended or glitched out, but now it is doing it in bulk for some reason. Has anyone else experienced this?
For anyone who puts in something stupid like "they don't like you" I am not hearing and should give a thumbs down to. Yes, it is possible some hate me and that's all fine. But clearly, this is not the case. Especially since a good friend of mine "did" this and had no recollection of it. I am pretty sure this is a glitch. Do some research before you respond. Others have had this same problem. I am trying to see what you have done or suggest doing about it.
