Should I make my facebook profile public so my ex can see it?
My ex who is already dating someone else wants my Facebook to be public so she can see my statuses and pics. I'm not sure what to make of it. I do want her back as my girlfriend though. Any advice would help. Thanks
Well she's contacted me without him knowing, and he found out about it and now wants her to not make any contact with me whatsoever, which is why she won't add me on facebook. And no she didn't dump me. It's a long complicated story but we've pretty much been together for 5 years.

If she wants to see your statuses and you don't mind, why not just add her?

Sounds like she just wants to be nosy.

No, you shouldn't make your whole Facebook public just so she can see it because her current boyfriend doesn't want her to friend you.

If she wants to see your Facebook behind his back, let you use a friend's account or something instead. Heck, just give her your login and let her use your account herself and see how that goes.

Generally speaking though, if she wants to be in this relationship and looking at your account, she shouldn't be doing it behind her boyfriend's back. She should be able to be your "friend" as usual. And if she does want to see your Facebook behind his back -- be it via public settings or another account or whatever -- she shouldn't be in the relationship.

Regardless, what she's asking with you making your account public for her is absurd. And I wouldn't take her back as a girlfriend either.
