Why is my ex adding my friends?

He not on my friends list on facebook but i've noticed he added my friends and my friend he already don't have them as friends. We broke up 2 years ago together for 4 months he asked my friend was I supporting him and last year he asked if we could give it another go I didn't want to and still don't he also said he can't bare to see me with someone else when I told him I was seeing someone else

Probably because he wants to know if your sad or mad that he'll ask your friends or because he loves you so much that he wants to add your friends
