Facebook ads using friends names real?

An ad on facebook says "Need to get away? Bob W. (lets pretend that Bob W. is a friend of mine of fbook) just got 2 nights in _____ for $15.23! Don't miss this opportunity!"

is that real? Did they really just publish Bob W.'s purchase online?

you need to change your account settings so third parties can't use your or your friends in their advertising. Go to:- account-my account-click on facebook ads and then click on edit third party settings. click on drop down list and chose 'no one" so they can't use them.
